What You'll Do5

  • 1Build, repair, and maintain flood control structures including carpentry, electrical, irrigation, masonry, painting, pesticide application, plumbing, road repair, weed abatement, and welding to protect communities.
  • 2Operate trucks, equipment, and hand tools safely while adhering to regulations and procedures.
  • 3Assist the Field Supervisor with daily activity reporting, material usage, and sourcing of materials, supplies, and tools.
  • 4Supervise maintenance crews in the absence of the Crew Leader or Field Supervisor.
  • 5Perform other duties as assigned or required.

Requirements5

  • 1Two years of experience in semi-skilled repair and trades tasks in construction and maintenance
  • 2High school diploma or GED
  • 3Valid Arizona Class A Commercial Driver`s License (CDL)
  • 4Must obtain a tanker endorsement issued by the State of Arizona at time of hire
  • 5Must possess a valid Pest Control Certification (Right of Way) or be able to obtain within six months of hire
