Overview

Owns day to day supervision of maintenance planning and reliability for water and wastewater facilities at scale within Chandler Public Works. Lead the use of EAM and CMMS to plan, schedule, and coordinate maintenance activities, maximizing uptime and equipment reliability. Work with a collaborative team in a long standing accredited utility operation and contribute to innovation in treatment and reuse.

What You'll Do5

  • 1Build and oversee maintenance plans using CMMS and EAM to improve asset reliability
  • 2Lead technical guidance and staff training to ensure safe, compliant operation
  • 3Ship schedules and coordinate preventive maintenance for 64+ million gallons per day water treatment and 30+ million gallons per day wastewater facilities
  • 4Own uptime metrics and reliability targets for water and wastewater systems and report outcomes
  • 5Drive continuous improvement initiatives across treatment plants, wells, reservoirs, and reclaimed water facilities

Requirements10

  • 1Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Public Administration, Construction Management, or related field
  • 25+ years in operations or maintenance of water or wastewater treatment plants or related industrial environment
  • 33+ years using an Enterprise Asset Management System (work order/asset)
  • 42+ years of lead or supervisory experience
  • 5HazWoper 40-hour certification within one year of hire
  • 6ADEQ Grade 3 Water or Wastewater Certification or Grade 1 Water Distribution or Wastewater Collections within one year
  • 7Maintenance Management Certification (LCE) within one year
  • 8Maintenance & Reliability Professional Certification within one year
  • 9Valid Driver's License with acceptable driving record
  • 10Pre-employment drug and alcohol screen and background checks
