Lead preventive maintenance and rapid repair of fitness and building systems at Lincoln Park and Illinois Center. Collaborate with the maintenance team to uphold high standards and safety. This role combines hands on repairs with proactive facility stewardship that keeps members focused on enjoying their workouts and community.

What You'll Do9

  • 1Build and perform preventive maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and fitness equipment to minimize downtime
  • 2Diagnose and repair equipment issues to restore operations within 24 hours and document root causes
  • 3Coordinate safety protocols and fire safety systems to protect members and staff
  • 4Schedule and track work orders, inspections, and routine maintenance using facility management practices
  • 5Inspect facilities for safety hazards, cleanliness, and equipment wear, and implement corrective actions
  • 6Collaborate with staff to maintain clean, functional environments across both clubs
  • 7Assist with minor construction, lighting, and drywall repairs as needed
  • 8Report maintenance trends and equipment lifecycle to optimize replacements and budgeting
  • 9Support incident response and emergency repairs to ensure business continuity

Requirements5

  • 1Minimum of 3-5 years in facilities maintenance or building operations
  • 2Hands on experience with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general facility repairs
  • 3Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills with a safety minded approach
  • 4Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and facility layouts
  • 5Excellent teamwork and communication for cross location coordination
