Overview
Perform comprehensive repairs across plumbing electrical and HVAC systems while maintaining facility integrity through proactive troubleshooting and systematic maintenance. This role reports directly to the Maintenance Supervisor within the Services Division at Westchester location. Candidates will drive operational efficiency by addressing client property issues and supporting team objectives.
What You'll Do11
- 1Troubleshoot and resolve all HVAC system failures including filter replacements and preventive maintenance tasks
- 2Execute precise repairs to drywall plaster and painting surfaces as required by supervisor directives
- 3Service damaged door hardware and lock mechanisms throughout facility spaces
- 4Address client property damage involving furniture fixtures and room interiors
- 5Conduct routine preventative maintenance checks following supervisor instructions
- 6Coordinate with external contractors and inspectors during scheduled maintenance activities
- 7Verify delivery receipts in absence of lead maintenance personnel
- 8Address electrical system issues including outlet switches and light fixture repairs
- 9Maintain cleanliness in restroom facilities by cleaning washers seats drains sinks tubs and toilets
- 10Assist with resident belongings storage during off-hours and emergency situations
- 11Respond to urgent requests outside normal business hours as needed
Requirements7
- 15+ years experience repairing plumbing electrical and HVAC systems
- 23-5 seasons of hands-on maintenance work in residential or commercial settings
- 3Valid New York State driver's license with clean driving record
- 4High school diploma or GED with strong math and language abilities
- 5Trade technical school certification preferred
- 6Physical capability to lift and carry 60 pounds repeatedly
- 7Strong commitment to safety protocols and workplace compliance standards
