Assistant Service Technician, Residential Maintenance & On-site Support
Overview
HVAC, plumbing, and electrical maintenance in residential apartment communities with a focus on safety and resident comfort. You will own routine repairs, preventive maintenance, and unit turns, while collaborating with a small onsite team. What You'll Do10
- 1Respond to maintenance requests across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance, and carpentry to restore operations
- 2Perform routine preventive maintenance on buildings and equipment to reduce downtime
- 3Prepare apartments for new residents through unit turns including painting and drywall repair
- 4Assist with after-hours emergency maintenance and on-call rotation as needed
- 5Inspect and troubleshoot systems, document findings, and propose solutions
- 6Maintain tools and equipment in good condition and ensure accurate records of work and materials used
- 7Follow safety protocols and company procedures, communicating clearly with residents and team
- 8Coordinate with property management to prioritize work orders and scheduling
- 9Support on-site safety practices and incident reporting as required
- 10Participate in training and apply new knowledge to improve upkeep of properties
Requirements10
- 1High school diploma or GED
- 2Ability to read and write in English
- 3Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks

- 5Basic knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and appliance repair
