Overview
Owns maintenance operations for residential facilities at scale, ensuring safe, well‑maintained living spaces for residents. Works with a maintenance team to inspect, repair, and improve building systems. Focuses on preventive maintenance, hands‑on repairs, and safety compliance to deliver reliable service. What You'll Do10
- 1Build and repair plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems to keep units and common areas functional
- 2Inspect facilities equipment including PLCs, electrical gear, HVAC, and plumbing to identify issues
- 3Diagnose problems using hand tools, schematics, and ohmmeters to implement lasting fixes
- 4Perform carpentry, painting, welding and other handyman tasks to maintain aesthetics and structural integrity
- 5Document maintenance activities with detailed logs and follow safety protocols
- 6Respond to resident service requests with a service‑menu mindset
- 7Lead or assist in training junior team members on procedures and safety practices
- 8Maintain a clean, organized work area and manage time to meet maintenance deadlines
- 9Collaborate with property operations to plan preventive maintenance schedules
- 10Support on‑call rotations and respond promptly to urgent maintenance needs
Requirements5
- 1Proven experience in facilities maintenance or residential property repair with knowledge of mechanical systems and electrical work
- 2Strong mechanical knowledge with experience repairing HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical equipment, and building interior components
- 3Ability to read schematics, technical manuals, and use tools such as hand tools and ohmmeters effectively
- 4Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and maintenance of facilities equipment is preferred
- 5Excellent communication skills in English; capable of documenting work clearly and following detailed instructions
