Maintenance Assistant Round Rock Austin
Overview
Ensures building and grounds maintenance through routine procedures and special work orders. Reports to Director of Maintenance Maintenance Supervisor or Plant Operations Director.
What You'll Do10
- 1Responds to and completes resident work orders ensuring quality of service to maximum resident satisfaction
- 2Performs work needed to ready apartments for move-in as assigned
- 3Performs general maintenance projects including plumbing electrical carpentry painting equipment repair snow removal landscaping
- 4Knows property emergency safety disaster plans responds promptly to emergencies
- 5Maintains office shops storage mechanical areas to SSMG standards
- 6Attends all required training in-service staff meetings
- 7Provides transportation services for residents
- 8Strives to maintain safe working environment preventing accidents preserving equipment achieving safe practices
- 9Maintains positive professional demeanor toward residents visitors families co-workers
- 10Adheres to all SSMG policies performs other duties as assigned
Requirements8
- 1High School Diploma or General Education Degree
- 2One to three months related experience and/or training
- 3Equivalent combination of education and experience
- 4Physical stamina standing bending talking hearing walking sitting climbing stairs using hands fingers reaching arms lifting up to 25 pounds
- 5Close distance color peripheral depth perception focus ability
- 6Ability to lift transfer residents using proper body mechanics
- 7Vision clarity hearing color vision and peripheral awareness
- 8Compliance with SSMG policies and accommodations available
