Overview
Weekend Maintenance Assistant responsible for building and grounds upkeep at Round Rock location. Reports to Director of Maintenance or related supervisor. Focuses on resident work orders and property maintenance tasks.
What You'll Do9
- 1Respond to and complete resident work orders ensuring maximum satisfaction
- 2Prepare apartments for move-in as assigned
- 3Perform general maintenance projects including plumbing electrical carpentry painting equipment repair snow removal landscaping
- 4Attend all required training and staff meetings
- 5Provide transportation services for residents
- 6Maintain office shops storage mechanical areas to SSMG standards
- 7Participate in in-service and staff meetings
- 8Adhere to emergency safety procedures and SSMG policies
- 9Preserve equipment and prevent workplace accidents
Requirements6
- 1High School Diploma or GED or 1-3 months related experience
- 2Physical ability to stand bend talk hear walk sit climb stairs
- 3Use hands fingers to handle objects lift up to 25 pounds
- 4Vision requirements include close distance color peripheral depth perception
- 5Frequent lifting transferring residents using proper body mechanics
- 6Knowledge of emergency protocols and safety procedures
