Mail Clerk, Corporate Mailroom Operations
Overview
You will own mail and package flow for a large corporate office in Philadelphia, managing 50+ daily shipments and scans. Working with FedEx, UPS, and USPS, you will sort, scan, and distribute mail, and keep the office stocked and organized. This role includes conference room setup and support for colleagues. You will work Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm, with full Medical, Dental, and 401k benefits.
What You'll Do7
- 1Sort incoming mail to prepare for scanning, using Mailroom Tracking Software to log each item.
- 2Scan physical mail into digital form with high accuracy, maintaining a 98% digitization rate.
- 3Check incoming packages in and out via a shipment tracking app, ensuring no parcel goes missing.
- 4Process outgoing shipments and mail, coordinating pickups with carriers like FedEx and UPS.
- 5Conduct multiple daily walkthroughs of the building to maintain amenities stocking, straighten conference rooms, and re-stock print stations.
- 6Assist with conference room setups when needed, lifting up to 50 lbs and arranging furniture and equipment.
- 7Assist colleagues with various mailroom requests, providing prompt and courteous service.
Requirements7
- 11+ years in mail handling or parcel delivery with FedEx, UPS, or USPS.
- 21+ years sorting and processing mail in a corporate mailroom.
- 3Ability to lift and carry mail and packages up to 50 pounds.
- 4Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- 5Strong communication and customer service skills.
- 6Ability to work independently and reliably.
- 7High school diploma or equivalent.
