Machine Operator, Manufacturing & CNC Grinding
Overview
Operate up to four industrial machines while maintaining production standards at a Greenfield, IN facility. You will own quality output, machine uptime, and safety compliance from day one. Work alongside a team of operators and report to a production supervisor who values mechanical aptitude and reliability. What You'll Do8
- 1Operate up to four industrial machines simultaneously, holding production quotas.
- 2Change tooling and adjust equipment using hand and power tools.
- 3Inspect parts with calipers and other measuring tools to meet quality specs.
- 4Read blueprints and work instructions to set up jobs accurately.
- 5Document production counts, batch numbers, and material usage in logs.
- 6Move raw materials and finished parts across the production floor.
- 7Troubleshoot minor machine jams and errors to minimize downtime.
- 8Keep the workstation clean and organized per 5S standards.
Requirements8
- 11+ year machine operating experience in manufacturing.
- 2Stable work history with 1+ year per employer.
- 3Mechanical aptitude to learn multiple machine types.
- 4Proficiency with hand and power tools.
- 5Ability to read blueprints and production documents.
- 6Experience using calipers and other measurement tools.
- 7Capability to lift and move materials regularly.
- 8Comfort standing for 8-12 hours in a warm environment.
