Machine Operator, Manufacturing & CNC Machinery
Overview
Operate and maintain diverse production machinery at a full-time role in West Berlin, NJ, with shifts from 7:00am to 3:30pm or 3:30pm to 12am. Report to a team of operators and report directly to the shift supervisor. What You'll Do7
- 1Operate and monitor CNC machines and press brakes to ensure smooth production and high-quality output
- 2Set up machines according to blueprints and adjust settings like speed, feed, and depth
- 3Perform routine maintenance such as cleaning, lubricating, and replacing worn parts
- 4Troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform minor repairs to minimize downtime
- 5Inspect finished parts using calipers and micrometers to meet tolerance specs
- 6Follow OSHA safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area
- 7Document production data and flag defects to the shift lead
Requirements7
- 11+ years operating machinery in a manufacturing environment
- 2Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- 3Basic math skills for measuring and calculating dimensions
- 4Familiarity with hand tools and power tools
- 5High school diploma or GED
- 6Ability to stand for long shifts and lift up to 50 pounds
- 7Willingness to work 1st or 2nd shift and overtime as needed
