Machine Operator CNC - CNC Machinist
Overview
You will operate CNC machines from set-up to finished part, supporting production in Montgomery County. Working with prints, tool lists, and Fanuc controls, you will bring precision to every run. The role sits within a close-knit machine shop, reporting to the production lead. With entry-level candidates considered, this position offers a clear path to master CNC machining. Pay starts at $19-22/hr with shift flexibility.
What You'll Do6
- 1Set up CNC machines from start to finish using drawings, prints, and tool lists.
- 2Load programs and tools into CNC machines, verifying accuracy before production runs.
- 3Change worn and damaged tools in machines throughout the production process.
- 4Troubleshoot problematic set-ups and document any changes.
- 5Maximize efficiency and productivity with tooling and fixturing.
- 6Conduct basic maintenance on CNC equipment and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Requirements6
- 11+ year experience with CNC milling machines and machinist operations.
- 2Proficiency in setting up machines and operating them.
- 3Ability to read blueprints and understand Fanuc controls.
- 4Experience with precision measurements using tools like calipers and micrometers.
- 5Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- 6High school diploma or equivalent.
