What You'll Do11
- 1Analyze algorithms and map workloads to heterogeneous ASICs with multiple processors and accelerators
- 2Perform calculations for throughput memory bandwidth and latency to evaluate tradeoffs
- 3Drive architecture definition for compute memory NoC collectives and debug subsystems
- 4Identify microbenchmarks and run simulations to validate designs
- 5Evangelize solutions mentor architecture team members
- 6Collaborate with RTL design verification firmware and program management to ship functional silicon
- 7Ensure end-to-end application performance while simplifying software development
- 8Define architecture specifications and drive cross-functional alignment
- 9Build automation frameworks using C++ and Python for simulation and analysis
- 10Pre-silicon modeling and performance analysis for custom silicon
- 11Lead architecture and microarchitectural specifications across teams
Requirements11
- 112+ years experience defining high performance ASICs focusing on architecture and performance analysis
- 2Proficiency in ASIC performance modeling and microarchitectural analysis
- 3Expertise in C++ and Python for simulation models and automation tools
- 4Familiarity with post-silicon validation and model-to-hardware correlation
- 5Domain knowledge in data center AI accelerator or HPC workloads
- 6Experience building scaling performance modeling infrastructure for hyperscale ASICs
- 7Background in network storage or AI inference accelerator design
- 8Understanding of power performance tradeoffs and ML framework integration
- 9Ability to define architecture and microarchitectural specs and align with RTL and physical design teams
- 10Preference for experience with C/C++ and ML frameworks such as PyTorch
- 11Knowledge of domain specifics like performance modeling and ML network optimization
