Overview
Own the strategic transition of endpoint platforms to cloud-based environments, serving as the senior technical authority for M365 and Intune engineering. You will drive automation and platform modernization across the hybrid workforce, collaborating with infrastructure and security teams to reduce manual effort and improve operational stability. This role blends deep technical engineering with daily scripting in PowerShell, shaping the future of endpoint delivery at scale.
What You'll Do9
- 1Design and implement M365 and Intune endpoint configurations, enforcing compliance and security baselines across the device fleet.
- 2Deploy automation scripts in PowerShell to streamline provisioning, patching, and lifecycle management for Windows and macOS endpoints.
- 3Migrate on-premises workloads to cloud-based services, decommissioning legacy infrastructure with minimal disruption.
- 4Troubleshoot complex Azure AD and Exchange Online issues, restoring service and improving reliability with system monitoring.
- 5Build and maintain automation workflows using Power Automate or Logic Apps to replace manual operational tasks.
- 6Collaborate with security teams to align endpoint policies with zero-trust architecture, auditing device compliance in Microsoft 365 Defender.
- 7Lead incident post-mortems for platform failures, implementing durable fixes and documenting runbooks for NOC staff.
- 8Drive Windows Autopilot deployment models, testing and refining provisioning flows to reduce deployment time by 40%.
- 9Optimize Microsoft Teams and SharePoint Online configurations to improve collaboration performance and governance.
Requirements9
- 15+ years engineering M365 and Intune platforms in enterprise environments with 10,000+ devices.
- 23+ years authoring production-grade PowerShell scripts for task automation and API integration.
- 3Deep proficiency with Azure AD, Exchange Online, and Microsoft 365 Defender security controls.
- 4Hands-on experience with Windows Autopilot and Configuration Manager migrating to cloud-native management.
- 5Proven track record integrating ServiceNow or Jira with M365 for automated ticketing and change management.
- 62+ years operating in hybrid workforce models, supporting both cloud and on-premises infrastructure.
- 7Fluency with Git for source control and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Azure DevOps).
- 8Ability to document technical designs and create clear operational runbooks.
- 9Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent 5+ years of practical experience.
