SaaS Platform Engineer (M365, Entra ID) - CapTech
Overview
You will own the technical administration and evolution of CapTech's enterprise SaaS ecosystem, serving as the subject matter expert for Microsoft 365, Entra ID, and Power Platform. You'll partner with ITOperations, InfoSec, and Business teams to design scalable solutions, drive automation, and enforce security. With autonomy to influence tooling and architecture, you'll fix root causes, not just symptoms. This role offers visibility into how a modern enterprise operates and the chance to shape AI-enabled tool adoption.
What You'll Do9
- 1Own the technical administration and evolution of a portfolio of SaaS platforms supporting 1,000+ employees.
- 2Evaluate and pilot AI-enabled tools that boost productivity and operational insight within the first 90 days.
- 3Design and implement automated workflows using PowerShell, APIs, and AI Agents to streamline provisioning and access management.
- 4Manage SSO integrations using SAML and OIDC to ensure secure and consistent access across all platforms.
- 5Enforce least-privilege access and governance controls in partnership with Security and IT Leadership.
- 6Drive adoption of the Microsoft ecosystem (M365, Entra ID, Intune, Copilot) by configuring and optimizing features.
- 7Analyze usage trends and risks to inform roadmap decisions and improve platform performance.
- 8Document configurations and processes, translating business needs into technical solutions.
- 9Influence change management practices aligned with ITIL to balance agility and stability.
Requirements10
- 15+ years experience supporting complex cloud-based SaaS environments in enterprise settings.
- 2Expertise administering Microsoft 365 including Entra ID, Power Platform, Intune, and Copilot.
- 3Hands-on experience with Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud Platform.
- 4Strong PowerShell scripting skills for automation and configuration.
- 5Proficiency in macOS and Windows CLI environments.
- 6Deep understanding of identity, authentication, and authorization models (SAML, OIDC).
- 7Proven ability to gather requirements and author clear technical documentation.
- 8Customer-focused mindset with a systems-thinking approach to root cause analysis.
- 9Curiosity about AI, automation, and emerging tools with a pragmatic application focus.
- 10Excellent communication skills for engaging both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
