Microsoft Cloud & Infrastructure Engineer
Overview
Anchor Network Solutions seeks a hands-on cloud engineer to own technical delivery of client projects focusing on Microsoft Azure Entra ID Intune and Microsoft 365 stack. Lead implementations from discovery through handoff supporting diverse client base in MSP environment. This project execution role includes growing AI focus assisting clients evaluate implement and support AI tools and platforms while contributing technical design and hands-on development work.
What You'll Do7
- 1Lead end-to-end delivery of cloud and infrastructure projects such as Azure migrations M365 tenant deployments Entra ID/hybrid identity implementations Intune/endpoint management Exchange Online migrations Teams/SharePoint rollouts and email security configurations
- 2Implement and configure Microsoft Purview for clients covering data classification DLP retention sensitivity labels and compliance governance requirements
- 3Support clients with AI adoption evaluating and implementing AI tools like Microsoft Copilot and other leading platforms providing technical design input and guidance on security governance and licensing
- 4Deliver on-premises infrastructure work including network refreshes switching routing VLANs wireless and firewalls as needed
- 5Manage full project lifecycle from scoping planning execution documentation and client handoff maintaining real-time documentation of configurations changes and project status
- 6Communicate clearly with clients and internal teams on milestones risks and next steps
- 7Partner with Project Managers on scheduling dependencies and resource coordination
Requirements14
- 13 to 5+ years of IT experience with significant project based or MSP delivery involvement
- 2Solid hands-on Azure experience comfortable with IaaS Azure AD Entra ID Azure networking and cloud migrations at AZ-104 level or equivalent
- 3Strong Microsoft 365 expertise including Exchange Online Teams SharePoint Intune and identity components
- 4Working knowledge of Microsoft Purview covering data governance compliance and information protection features
- 5Exposure to AI tools and platforms such as Microsoft Copilot and other leading AI solutions with interest in expanding into AI implementation and technical design
- 6On-prem to cloud migration experience handling Active Directory to Entra ID file shares to SharePoint/OneDrive and on-prem Exchange to Exchange Online
- 7CompTIA Network+ or equivalent networking background including VLANs routing switching firewall configuration wireless
- 8Strong communication skills with client facing responsibilities most projects
- 9Valid driver’s license reliable transportation and ability to lift 25 lbs
- 10Preferred Azure certifications AZ-104 AZ-305 AZ-700 AZ-800 AZ-140 or AZ-120
- 11Preferred Microsoft 365 certifications MS-900 MS-102 MD-102 MS-700 or MS-721
- 12Preferred experience implementing AI solutions or contributing to their technical design across commercial AI platforms
- 13Familiarity with AI governance security and licensing considerations
- 14Experience with MSP tooling such as PSA ticketing RMM and documentation platforms
