Senior Endpoint Engineer, Intune & SCCM
Overview
You will own endpoint lifecycle management for 5,000+ devices across Intune, SCCM, and Azure Virtual Desktop. You will join a team of 4 engineers reporting to the IT Infrastructure Manager. You will replace manual processes with PowerShell automation and harden Windows endpoints against evolving threats.
What You'll Do8
- 1Ship Intune policies and SCCM task sequences to manage Windows endpoints and AVD fleet.
- 2Build PowerShell scripts to automate device provisioning, patching, and compliance reporting.
- 3Drive device enrollment and conditional access alignment with Azure AD and Microsoft Defender.
- 4Debug and resolve endpoint failures and performance bottlenecks across AVD and physical devices.
- 5Scale group policy (GPO) cleanup and migration to Intune configuration profiles.
- 6Lead quarterly patch cycles for Windows and third-party apps with SCCM.
- 7Document runbooks and health dashboards for endpoint operations.
- 8Collaborate with security team to enforce BitLocker and Windows Defender policies.
Requirements7
- 15+ years managing enterprise endpoints with Intune and SCCM.
- 23+ years supporting Azure Virtual Desktop and Windows 10/11.
- 3Deep knowledge of Group Policy administration and Active Directory.
- 4Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for endpoint automation.
- 5Experience with Azure AD and conditional access policies.
- 6Understanding of Windows Update for Business and Driver management.
- 7Solid troubleshooting skills for AVD sessions and Windows image builds.
