Lot Operations Lead - Automotive Auction Services Chandler
Overview
Lead the daily operations of a high-volume auto lot in Chandler ensuring vehicle flow and lot readiness for auctions. Manage and develop a team of Lot Assistants and drivers, coordinating cross-functionally with departments to meet aggressive timelines. What You'll Do10
- 1Lead and develop the Lot Operations team to meet daily performance targets and provide ongoing feedback
- 2Coordinate daily activities to ensure vehicles are in correct locations and ready for auction
- 3Delegate tasks and distribute workloads to meet pre-sale and lot maintenance requirements within tight deadlines
- 4Oversee onboarding and training of new team members on SOPs safety protocols and technical systems
- 5Conduct daily inspections to ensure lot appearance cleanliness and proper maintenance and perform pre-sale quality checks
- 6Assist with inventory management locate number and move vehicles while ensuring VIN and data accuracy
- 7Promote department safety compliance and maintain a high safety focus during all lot movements
- 8Maintain equipment condition schedule cleaning tasks and ensure orderly lot
- 9Communicate clearly with multiple departments and stakeholders to manage expectations and outcomes
- 10Support leadership during peak periods and contribute to continuous process improvements
Requirements8
- 1Minimum of 1 year of leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- 23 5 years of automotive or auction experience preferred
- 3Proficiency with computer systems inventory applications and barcode scanning
- 4High School diploma or GED required
- 5Must be 18 years of age and have a valid driver's license
- 6Ability to drive a variety of vehicle makes models and sizes safely
- 7Strong communication and organizational skills with attention to detail
- 8Ability to work in a fast paced environment with varied physical activity
