What You'll Do10
- 1Lead eight associates and hold them accountable to savings and productivity standards
- 2Oversee inventory control warehousing transportation logistics planning order processing and customer service
- 3Partner with Quality Planning and Procurement teams to resolve logistics related quality issues
- 4Assist in developing site logistics budgets focusing on continuous performance improvement
- 5Coordinate operational redesign projects to enhance performance and meet customer needs
- 6Monitor fixed assets and implement approved capital improvement projects
- 7Communicate logistics metrics to direct reports
- 8Resolve quality service and cost issues
- 9Supervise inventory levels
- 10Support additional job duties as assigned
Requirements7
- 1Bachelor degree or high school diploma equivalent GED and four years of experience in manufacturing logistics or related field
- 2Two years of prior supervisory experience in manufacturing or logistics
- 3Immigration sponsorship not available
- 4Proficiency with SAP MS Access and Excel
- 5Experience with TPM and Lean Manufacturing principles
- 6Strong written and verbal communication skills
- 7Ability to exercise independent judgment think critically and work effectively in cross functional teams
