Senior Logistics Team Leader, Warehouse Operations
Overview
You will lead a team of 10-12 associates at Ecolab's Philadelphia site, owning safety, quality, and productivity metrics. You will drive process improvement projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams on warehouse and network design. What You'll Do8
- 1Lead a team of 10-12 associates to meet savings and productivity standards, holding each member accountable.
- 2Oversee daily logistics activities including inventory control, warehousing, transportation, and order processing using SAP and Koerber.
- 3Partner with Quality, Planning, Procurement, and Manufacturing teams to identify and resolve service issues in real time.
- 4Assist in developing the site logistics budget, focusing on year-over-year improvement against key metrics.
- 5Coordinate operational redesign projects to improve performance and meet customer needs, applying Lean principles.
- 6Monitor fixed assets and implement approved capital improvement projects for your functional areas.
- 7Communicate standard logistics metrics to direct reports and resolve quality, service, and cost issues.
- 8Support inventory level oversight and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
Requirements7
- 14+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing or logistics environment.
- 2Bachelor's degree OR High School diploma/GED with 4+ years experience in manufacturing, logistics, or related field.
- 3Advanced proficiency with SAP, Koerber, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- 4Experience with TPM and/or Lean Manufacturing principles.
- 5Previous project management experience leading cross-functional initiatives.
- 6Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- 7Ability to exercise independent judgment and think critically in a fast-paced setting.
Salary Insight
$75 - $112k per year
