Loader Operator, Heavy Equipment & Outdoor Environment
Overview
Own the operation of a FrontEnd Loader in rugged outdoor settings supporting bulk material movement at scale within a manufacturing facility. Lead safety adherence and routine maintenance to ensure reliable equipment performance. Collaborate with a team in a multi-facility environment and contribute to high-quality execution. This role stands out through hands-on outdoor equipment work and exposure to diverse weather conditions.
What You'll Do9
- 1Build and operate a FrontEnd Loader to move bulk material in a busy mulch yard
- 2Inspect equipment and detect malfunctions to minimize downtime
- 3Perform routine maintenance including lubrication fueling and cleaning to extend machinery life
- 4Read job specifications to determine operator adjustments and material requirements
- 5Monitor safety policies and procedures and enforce safe operation in all weather conditions
- 6Maintain daily equipment reports and document issues and actions
- 7Coordinate with team members to ensure efficient material flow
- 8Move levers shift gears depress pedals and steer with precision to operate equipment
- 9Adapt to multiple terrains and varying surfaces including paved dirt and multilevel work areas
Requirements10
- 1At least 2 years’ experience using heavy equipment
- 2High school diploma or GED or equivalent
- 3Able to sit for extended periods while operating equipment
- 4Able to climb up and down from cab heights multiple times per hour
- 5Must work safely in a busy mulch yard compensating for distances and precision
- 6Must be able to work effectively in extreme outdoor climate(s) cold heat rain fog snow
- 7Able to work onsite in Noblesville IN
- 8EOE veteran and disability friendly policy compliance
- 9Flexibility to work in onsite environment with varying schedules
- 10Driver license or reliable transportation to site
