Overview
Own the safe operation of loaders and ground-level yard duties at Fenix Parts, a top U.S. automotive recycler with 30+ locations. You will manage vehicle movement, parts staging, and debris removal while working hands-on across the yard. This role blends heavy equipment handling with physical labor, requiring frequent equipment entry and exit. What You'll Do7
- 1Operate loaders and assigned heavy equipment to move vehicles, parts, and scrap across the yard.
- 2Sort, stage, and organize vehicles and parts for production and shipping.
- 3Perform daily yard cleanup, removing debris and maintaining clear, safe work areas.
- 4Enter and exit equipment repeatedly to complete ground-level material handling tasks.
- 5Assist yard and production teams with physical tasks like lifting and moving heavy items.
- 6Follow all safety protocols when working near vehicles and active equipment.
- 7Support general labor duties as operational needs shift during the first 90 days.
Requirements7
- 11+ years operating heavy equipment like loaders or forklifts.
- 2Automotive background with knowledge of vehicle parts and recycling operations.
- 3Ability to lift 75 lbs continuously during shifts.
- 4Basic computer skills for logging and tracking tasks.
- 5Understanding of mechanical equipment and routine maintenance.
- 6Willingness to work in all weather conditions outdoors.
- 7High school diploma or equivalent, with a valid driver's license.
