What You'll Do11
- 1Serve as lead capacity to peers by reviewing work and solving routine issues
- 2Operate forklift or loader to move cars within the yard
- 3Clean debris from cars before processing
- 4Pull out batteries for testing and resale
- 5Maintain safety compliance with EPA and OSHA regulations
- 6Wear required PPE and follow company policies
- 7Initiate improvements to LKQ's quality system
- 8Coordinate with Loader Operator to stage or pull cars
- 9Walk yard to place debris in removed cars
- 10Dismantle tires
- 11Support daily yard operations and staff issues
Requirements5
- 1Minimum 3+ years of related experience
- 2Fully competent in job requirements
- 3High school diploma or GED
- 4Strong math skills including calculations and graph interpretation
- 5Proficiency with Outlook Word Excel and presentation software
