Pit Loader Operator, Front-End Loader
Overview
You will operate a Pit Loader at our Fuquay Quarry in Holly Springs, North Carolina, ensuring safe and efficient material handling. You'll maintain product stockpiles, conduct daily inspections, and coordinate with truck drivers. This role demands a safety-first mindset and experience with mobile equipment, working 6:30 AM to 5 PM, with weekends as needed. What You'll Do8
- 1Operate a Pit Loader within company guidelines and safety standards.
- 2Complete daily pre and post inspections of working areas, ensuring adequate berms and roadways.
- 3Perform pre-shift safety inspections on equipment and report needed repairs to the supervisor.
- 4Ensure safe operations around conveyors, surge piles, and crushers.
- 5Perform daily preventative maintenance, including tire pressure, oil, grease, and checking for leaks.
- 6Maintain safe traffic flow throughout the site.
- 7Operate other equipment such as excavators and haul trucks as needed.
- 8Assist in training co-workers as needed.
Requirements4
- 1High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
- 26+ months of experience operating and maintaining a front-end loader (preferred).
- 3Experience in maintenance and operation of mobile equipment, construction equipment, or processing plant equipment.
- 4Safety-conscious with a dependable and motivated attitude.
