What You'll Do11
- 1Operate and maintain bulldozers excavators rollers backhoes and off-road trucks for site grading tasks
- 2Read plans on site and verify grades against site blueprints
- 3Coordinate equipment movements through hand or audio signals
- 4Identify and mitigate hazards related to utilities equipment and personnel
- 5Conduct pre and post equipment inspections and perform routine maintenance
- 6Maintain accurate records of material usage and operational issues
- 7Assist with diverse job functions as needed to support project goals
- 8Adhere to safety protocols and company policies at all times
- 9Travel within a 70 mile radius of Charlotte metro area including occasional evenings nights and weekends
- 10Wear appropriate safety gear including vests glasses and closed toe shoes
- 11Adapt to changing priorities while maintaining a positive attitude
Requirements9
- 13-6 months of site grading experience or equivalent outdoor work experience
- 2Proven ability to operate grading equipment confidently
- 3Strong safety consciousness and willingness to follow company guidelines
- 4Excellent communication skills for teamwork and clear instructions
- 5Reliable transportation to and from work locations
- 6Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform physical tasks for extended periods
- 7Flexibility to work evenings nights and weekends
