Overview
You'll operate heavy equipment like bulldozers, excavators, and cranes on construction and earthmoving projects across select U.S. cities. You'll manage earthmoving, digging, loading, and hauling at scale while coordinating with site managers to keep timelines on track. What You'll Do7
- 1Operate bulldozers, graders, backhoes, compactors, excavators, haul trucks, and cranes to move earth, dig, load, haul, and spread material.
- 2Conduct pre-use checks and regular maintenance inspections to ensure safe and reliable equipment operation.
- 3Follow project blueprints, site plans, and safety procedures to maintain efficient workflows.
- 4Coordinate with site managers, engineers, and construction staff to keep project timelines on schedule.
- 5Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to minimize occupational risks, including handling adverse weather and physical demands.
- 6Assist with heavy lifting, pushing, or pulling of objects over 60 lbs as needed.
- 7Operate machinery in varied conditions: wet, humid, hot, with exposure to fumes, dust, and vibrations.
Requirements7
- 1Past experience in construction equipment operator jobs or a related supporting industry.
- 2Past experience operating different machinery used in construction, earthmoving, or excavation.
- 3A valid commercial driver's license (CDL) or heavy equipment operator certificate is preferred.
- 4Strong attention to detail, interpersonal skills, mechanical aptitude, and ability to follow safety protocols.
- 5Physical stamina to handle demanding job site conditions and long shifts.
- 6Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
- 7Understanding of GPS equipment and operations.
