The Lifeguard oversees participant safety during recreational fitness and instructional swimming at the YMCA of the Suncoast Greater Palm Harbor Branch. Responsibilities include direct supervision and adherence to safety protocols.

Requirements13
- 1Minimum age 16 years
- 2Professional Rescue CPR or Basic Life Support certification
- 3First Aid certification
- 4Automated External Defibrillator AED certification
- 5Oxygen Administration O2 certification
- 6Intro to the Ys Cause & Culture training
- 7Y's Way to Service & Engagement training
- 8I Hear You: Service with CARE training
- 9Child Abuse Prevention training required within 30 days
- 10Foundations of Listen First training within 90 days
- 11Certified Pool Operator license
- 12Life Guard Trainer certification preferred
- 13Get SMART certification preferred
