What You'll Do11
- 1Apply psychotherapeutic techniques and interventions to treat diagnosed emotional and behavioral health disorders
- 2Conduct psychosocial assessments and develop initial discharge plans
- 3Facilitate individual group and family therapy sessions as part of the treatment plan
- 4Maintain accurate clinical documentation following facility and professional standards
- 5Manage assigned caseload effectively
- 6Collaborate with multidisciplinary treatment teams to coordinate patient services
- 7Provide case management discharge planning and after-care planning
- 8Assist in educating and training staff on behavior management and therapeutic crisis intervention
- 9Coordinate clinical and psychosocial activities with patients and families
- 10Demonstrate a positive empathetic and professional attitude toward clients at all times
- 11Address unmet patient needs and resolve complaints promptly
Requirements5
- 1State or national licensure for professional therapy providers
- 2CPR and de-escalation/restraint certification
- 3Master's degree in Psychology Social Work Counseling or related therapeutic field
- 4Two or more years of therapist experience with one year specializing in the facility's client population
- 5Commitment to patient safety and confidentiality
