What You'll Do8

  • 1Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments to uncover each patient's unique needs and strengths.
  • 2Develop individualized treatment plans with a trauma-informed lens, adjusting as needed.
  • 3Lead group sessions that educate, motivate, and empower patients in recovery.
  • 4Provide crisis intervention and support families through challenging times with clarity.
  • 5Partner with doctors, nurses, and therapists in multidisciplinary team meetings to align on treatment and discharge planning.
  • 6Coordinate patient cases, anticipating needs related to illness, hospitalization, finances, and community services.
  • 7Document patient progress accurately to meet facility and accreditation standards.
  • 8Advocate for patients, promoting recovery and the highest level of social functioning.

Requirements7

  • 1Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related field.
  • 2State licensure: LMSW, LCSW, LSW, or limited licensure accepted (LLPC or LPC).
  • 3CPR and de-escalation/restraint certification (training provided upon hire).
  • 4Strong empathy, resilience, and ethical compass.
  • 5Ability to remain calm in crisis and advocate for vulnerable populations.
  • 6Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • 7New graduates are welcome.
