Overview
Clinician I provides direct clinical services to clients under supervision. Assess needs develop treatment plans deliver therapeutic interventions. Entry level position ideal for individuals passionate about helping others and gaining hands-on experience in clinical psychology counseling. Serve clients with sexual offense histories or complex behavioral backgrounds. Strong Spanish communication skills encouraged. Requires Master's degree education obtain LS/CMI & STABLE certifications CASOMB certification eligible. Licensed or pre-licensure status permitting mental health services under supervision. Prior forensic experience encouraged.
What You'll Do9
- 1Deliver evidence-based psychotherapy interventions including cognitive-behavioral therapy dialectical behavior therapy and other modalities
- 2Complete intakes conducting diagnostic assessments formulate treatment plans
- 3Facilitate groups leading therapeutic groups addressing anger management relapse prevention and psychoeducation
- 4Provide individual 1:1 therapy sessions using CBT motivational interviewing and DBT
- 5Monitor progress adjust treatment plans maintain accurate clinical documentation submit notes quarterly
- 6Maintain compliance with regulatory standards documentation requirements participate in supervision meetings
- 7Provide crisis intervention risk assessment coordinate referrals for higher levels of care
- 8Adhere to ethical professional standards ensure confidentiality respect client rights comply with state federal laws
- 9Assist in establishing quality assurance program systematic review of service quality safety appropriateness
Requirements5
- 1Master's degree in psychology counseling social work or related field
- 2Eligible to obtain and maintain active LS/CMI & STABLE certifications
- 3Eligible to obtain and maintain CASOMB certification as Associate Provider or higher
- 4Licensed or pre-licensure status permitting mental health services under supervision
- 5Prior forensic experience encouraged
