Overview

We seek a compassionate Mental Health Worker to join our team at National Psychiatric Care and Rehabilitation Services. What You'll Do11

  • 1Administer medications according to prescribed schedules
  • 2Conduct daily room checks and ensure resident safety
  • 3Engage residents in meaningful conversations to promote emotional well-being
  • 4Collaborate with clinical staff to develop and implement treatment plans
  • 5Maintain accurate documentation of resident behaviors and progress
  • 6Assist with recreational activities and therapeutic exercises
  • 7Support residents in completing daily living tasks independently
  • 8Transport residents to approved off-ground locations
  • 9Enforce facility safety protocols including proper lifting techniques
  • 10Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to share observations
  • 11Follow all clinical guidelines and report changes to supervisors

Requirements10

  • 1Bachelor's degree in psychology counseling or related field
  • 2Minimum 1 year of experience in mental health counseling
  • 3Valid driver's license and CPR certification
  • 4Background check clearance
  • 5Strong verbal communication skills
  • 6Ability to build rapport with diverse clients
  • 7Experience with electronic health record systems
  • 8Understanding of substance abuse treatment protocols
  • 9Commitment to ethical practice standards
  • 10Availability for per diem shifts
