Overview
You will own business development and design delivery for K-12 educational facilities at Parkhill, a top Southwest A/E firm with 15 offices. You will cultivate relationships with school district administrators while contributing to planning, design, and technical execution. This seller-doer role blends revenue growth with hands-on architecture, making you a key driver of the Education practice.
What You'll Do6
- 1Build and maintain strong relationships with school district administrators and stakeholders to identify new K-12 project opportunities.
- 2Lead design and technical support for educational facility projects from concept through construction documentation.
- 3Drive project success by coordinating with internal teams across architecture, engineering, and planning to meet client expectations.
- 4Represent Parkhill in client meetings, industry events, and community engagements to expand the firm's presence.
- 5Develop and deliver proposals and presentations that win new business and strengthen client trust.
- 6Mentor junior staff and contribute to the firm's knowledge base in K-12 facility design standards.
Requirements5
- 13+ years of architectural experience with a focus on K-12 facility design.
- 2Proven track record of client-facing communication and relationship management.
- 3Ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams, including engineers and planners.
- 4Experience leading proposals or client presentations is a plus.
- 5Existing relationships with school districts are preferred.
