Overview
This role owns the full requirements lifecycle for infrastructure projects at a Detroit-based enterprise, translating business needs into technical specs that directly shape network, server, and cloud deployments. You will work alongside a team of engineers and project managers, supporting multiple concurrent initiatives from discovery through delivery. The position offers a hybrid schedule in Pontiac, MI, with a contract engagement and a video-only interview process.
What You'll Do7
- 1Elicit, analyze, and document business and technical requirements through stakeholder interviews and process mapping.
- 2Drive requirements validation for infrastructure projects, ensuring deliverables match defined specifications.
- 3Analyze data and existing workflows to identify gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities.
- 4Translate business needs into functional and technical specs for cloud, network, and server teams.
- 5Lead requirement workshops and review sessions with cross-functional stakeholders.
- 6Track requirement traceability and change requests across the project lifecycle.
- 7Collaborate with QA teams to validate that solutions meet acceptance criteria.
Requirements7
- 15+ years as a Business Systems Analyst in IT infrastructure or enterprise technology environments.
- 2Proven experience eliciting requirements for network, cloud, or server projects.
- 33+ years facilitating stakeholder interviews and process documentation.
- 4Strong analytical skills with a track record of translating data into actionable insights.
- 5Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 6Experience with Agile or Waterfall methodologies.
- 7Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
