Business Systems Analyst, Infrastructure & Networking
Overview
You will own the full requirements lifecycle for Infrastructure Services projects spanning Networking, Server, Workstation Services, O365, VoIP Telecommunications, and Service Center teams. As a Business Systems Analyst, you will bridge business needs and technical delivery in a Hybrid role based in Pontiac, MI. You will interview stakeholders, analyze current processes, and translate findings into actionable specifications. This 1+ year engagement puts you at the center of cross-functional infrastructure initiatives.
What You'll Do7
- 1Elicit and document business and functional requirements for projects across Networking, Server, and Workstation Services.
- 2Interview stakeholders to uncover needs and pain points for O365 adoption and VoIP Telecommunications upgrades.
- 3Translate business requirements into use cases, process flows, and traceability matrices for infrastructure teams.
- 4Drive requirements validation with stakeholders and technical teams through workshops and review sessions.
- 5Analyze existing business processes to identify gaps and improvement opportunities for Service Center operations.
- 6Own requirement traceability from inception to delivery across multiple concurrent infrastructure projects.
- 7Facilitate communication between business units and technical teams to ensure alignment and clarity.
Requirements6
- 15+ years as a Business Analyst or Business Systems Analyst on infrastructure projects.
- 23+ years eliciting requirements for Networking, Server, or Workstation environments.
- 3Hands-on experience with O365 and VoIP Telecommunications systems (e.g., Teams, Skype).
- 4Proven track record of conducting stakeholder interviews and process analysis.
- 5Experience with Service Center operations and ITIL frameworks.
- 6Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
