Inventory Specialist, ERP & Infor/CSI Focus in Dallas
Overview
Own the daily inventory control operations for a fast paced manufacturing site in Dallas. Lead inbound material receipt, material allocation, and cycle counting to ensure accurate stock for production. Collaborate with Production, Project Management, and Admin to keep inventory levels transparent and actionable. The role blends hands on ERP data entry with cross functional communication and problem solving.
What You'll Do10
- 1Build and maintain accurate inventory records in ERP systems
- 2Allocate raw materials to stock locations and post transactions for production
- 3Process material transactions from stock to job orders and update ERP in real time
- 4Conduct daily cycle counts and resolve discrepancies with Buyer/Planner
- 5Communicate inventory status in daily meetings and written updates to Production and Project Management
- 6Respond to material issues quickly by identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions
- 7Perform miscellaneous administrative and clerical tasks and maintain organized documentation
- 8Support inbound shipments and material receiving processes ensuring data integrity in ERP
- 9Assist with special projects and process improvements as needed
- 10Maintain safety, quality, and compliance standards in all inventory activities
Requirements10
- 1High school diploma or equivalent
- 23 years of inventory control experience in a warehouse or manufacturing setting
- 3Proficiency with ERP systems; Infor or CSI preferred but not required
- 4Strong skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- 5Ability to stand, walk, lift up to 40 lbs, and perform manual handling as needed
- 6Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer focus
- 7Ability to work Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm with potential overtime
- 8Detail oriented with a sense of urgency and proactive approach
- 9Experience coordinating with Production, Project Management, and Admin teams
- 10Basic problem solving and critical thinking abilities
