Inventory Control Specialist, Manufacturing & ERP
Overview
Own inventory accuracy and material planning at TYR Tactical in Phoenix with hands-on daily data entry and ERP usage. You will maintain stock levels, track material movement, and forecast potential issues to keep production on schedule. Collaborate with Operations and logistics teams to ensure timely order fulfillment and accurate client inventories. This role blends data entry precision with hands-on warehousing tasks in a manufacturing environment.
What You'll Do9
- 1Build and maintain accurate records of material, equipment, and supplies using company systems
- 2Inspect received inventory and confirm readiness for shipping or delivery
- 3Maintain optimal stock levels and understand material lead times to support production planning
- 4Communicate stock status and potential fulfillment challenges with the Operations team
- 5Generate reports on inventory activities and variances to inform decisions
- 6Conduct daily analyses to forecast inventory issues and take proactive actions
- 7Perform forklift and reach lift operations as needed
- 8Follow instructions and adapt to changing priorities and organizational changes
- 9Attend to other related duties as assigned
Requirements10
- 1Proficiency with data entry tools and office software including Microsoft Excel
- 2Experience with GP Dynamics or similar inventory management software
- 3Strong typing and data entry accuracy
- 4Ability to thrive in a fast-paced open office or manufacturing environment
- 5Demonstrated ability to listen, learn quickly, and communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues
- 6Physical ability to stand, bend, lift, and navigate a manufacturing floor
- 7Willingness to work overtime as needed
- 8Prolonged standing and other physical demands typical of manufacturing
- 9Ability to follow instructions and take direction effectively
