Overview
The Inventory Analyst owns inventory accuracy and drives data-driven improvements at GTI Fabrication. This fast-paced role supports customers in renewable energy and industrial systems by delivering turn-key enclosures and skids. You will partner with cross-functional teams to optimize inventory performance and minimize waste. This position differs by focusing on precision execution and rapid adaptation.
What You'll Do11
- 1Analyze inventory levels and demand trends to set reorder points and safety stock levels
- 2Monitor inventory performance metrics and recommend adjustments to optimize investment
- 3Identify slow-moving excess and obsolete inventory and develop corrective action plans
- 4Conduct audits cycle counts and reconcile physical inventory to improve accuracy
- 5Develop dashboards and KPI reports for leadership using data analytics
- 6Utilize RCCA methodologies to eliminate recurring inventory issues
- 7Maintain data integrity in ERP and inventory management systems
- 8Collaborate with Production Planning and Materials teams to ensure inventory availability
- 9Stay current on inventory best practices and recommend automation opportunities
- 10Support Lean Manufacturing initiatives and continuous improvement projects
- 11Partner with warehouse and operations to maintain accurate inventory records
Requirements11
- 1Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or related field
- 23+ years inventory analysis experience in manufacturing
- 3Proficiency with SAP Oracle or Microsoft Dynamics ERP systems
- 4Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables and SQL
- 5Experience with inventory management software and data visualization tools
- 6Strong analytical abilities and problem-solving mindset
- 7Familiarity with cycle counting and inventory reconciliation processes
- 8Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
- 9Experience with high-mix or high-volume manufacturing environments
- 10Ability to thrive in a collaborative fast-paced environment
