Inventory Control Analyst, SAP & Refinery Operations
Overview
You will own bulk and packaged inventory accuracy for a premier refinery in Cicero, IL, reconciling every variance and driving corrective actions. Reporting to plant leadership, you will coordinate cycle counts, regulatory verification, and system transactions across local and remote teams. 5-10 years of inventory management experience with SAP proficiency sets you apart. You will partner with operations and IT to troubleshoot SAP and plant inventory systems, turning data into decisions. This 1-year contract offers $43.58/hour and direct exposure to advanced SAP and inventory management systems.
What You'll Do7
- 1Maintain accurate bulk and packaged inventory records, executing timely SAP and system transactions for the plant.
- 2Serve as the primary inventory focal point for plant operations, coordinating with local and remote teams.
- 3Analyze inventory gains, losses, and variances to identify root causes and propose corrective actions.
- 4Coordinate inventory movements, records, and support regulatory inventory verification and cycle count activities.
- 5Investigate and reconcile all inventory variances and issues to ensure ongoing compliance.
- 6Support and troubleshoot SAP and plant inventory systems, providing strategic input and reporting to leadership.
- 7Drive continuous improvement in inventory accuracy, controls, and operational efficiency.
Requirements7
- 15-10 years of experience in inventory management roles.
- 2Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field (preferred).
- 3Proficiency in SAP Materials Management and Order to Cash (preferred).
- 4Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- 5Strong problem-solving and data analytics skills.
- 6Effective communication and collaboration in a virtual, multi-cultural team environment.
