Inventory Control Associate, Warehouse & SAP
Overview
Inventory Control Associate owns daily inventory accuracy across the Atlanta distribution center, from cycle counts to discrepancy resolution. You will run SAP and HighJump Warehouse Advantage systems, reconcile inbound and outbound issues, and prepare for annual physical inventory. The role sits within a fast-moving warehouse team supporting logistics operations. You'll act as the primary link between operators and system data, ensuring smooth flow. What You'll Do7
- 1Execute cycle counts using SAP and HighJump Warehouse Advantage to verify stock levels and flag variances.
- 2Process damages in the WMS, creating reports for supervisor review and disposal.
- 3Report inbound discrepancies to the Inventory Control Supervisor, documenting details in Excel.
- 4Assist operators with system discrepancies and issues, troubleshooting RF scanner errors.
- 5Prepare for annual physical inventory by organizing counts, labeling zones, and coordinating with team leads.
- 6Reconcile inventory records against system data, identifying root causes and corrective actions.
- 7Support inbound and outbound associates with stock location inquiries and cycle count adjustments.
Requirements9
- 1High school diploma or equivalent.
- 21+ year of warehouse administrative experience in distribution or logistics.
- 3Knowledge of SAP or ability to learn it quickly.
- 4Knowledge of HighJump Warehouse Advantage or customer WMS systems.
- 5Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, 365).
- 6Ability to operate RF scanning equipment and read labels accurately.
- 7Strong math skills for count accuracy and data entry.
- 8Forklift experience preferred.
- 9Prior WMS system experience a plus.
