Inventory Analyst, Warehouse Operations & WMS
Overview
You will own inventory accuracy across the shipping team, driving improvements in cycle counts and material flow that directly impact company performance. Reporting to operations leadership, you will coordinate with production, purchasing, and customer accounts to prevent excess and obsolete stock. This contract-to-hire role in Fort Worth operates first shift Monday-Friday in an air-conditioned facility. You will use WMS and Excel to turn data into actionable insights, with the chance to be hired permanently.
What You'll Do10
- 1Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move materials and control lifting apparatus with precision from day one.
- 2Position forks, platforms, and lifting devices to load and unload pallets, skids, boxes, and products safely.
- 3Transport loads to designated warehouse areas and stage materials for production workflows.
- 4Inventory materials on the work floor using WMS to update stock levels in real time.
- 5Perform pre-operational equipment checks, recharge batteries, and swap liquefied gas tanks to keep operations running.
- 6Analyze inventory, production, and customer order data with Excel to identify and correct discrepancies.
- 7Coordinate between production, customer accounts, and purchasing to eliminate excess and obsolete inventory.
- 8Review and correct bills-of-material to improve inventory system accuracy and reporting.
- 9Collaborate with operators on the floor to consolidate raw materials and finished goods, reducing waste.
- 10Assist operations staff in recording intercompany inventory activities correctly.
Requirements8
- 1High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 21-3 years in inventory control and cycle counting in a warehouse setting.
- 3Hands-on experience with WMS and Excel.
- 4Valid forklift certification and ability to operate pallet jacks.
- 5Ability to lift 50+ lbs and stand for full shifts in a warehouse environment.
- 6Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as production demands.
- 7Strong attention to detail for data entry and inventory tracking.
- 8Basic math skills for inventory calculations.
