What You'll Do10
- 1Build a safe, nurturing classroom environment by reinforcing classroom systems and managing student behavior to keep all learners engaged.
- 2Support teachers with differentiation strategies, adapting instruction to meet the needs of every student.
- 3Track student progress with data tracking and progress monitoring, documenting outcomes and completing assigned paperwork on time.
- 4Collaborate with the Educational Specialist to implement individualized plans for students with diverse learning needs.
- 5Develop lesson plans aligned with CA CCSS and CA State Content Standards, or assist the lead teacher in doing so.
- 6Identify student improvement areas and work with families and internal resources to suggest actionable options.
- 7Drive student excitement for learning by fostering strong relationships with students, parents, and faculty.
- 8Attend and participate in school-based meetings, professional development trainings, and plan field trips.
- 9Participate in school events during, before, and after school, demonstrating commitment to the school's mission.
- 10Maintain student records and complete all assigned paperwork within provided timeframes.

- 1Meet the requirements of NCLB and ESSA.
- 2Prior experience working with students in a learning environment.
- 3Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
- 4Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- 5Must be flexible, positive, detail-oriented, a team player, patient, and willing to learn.
- 6Must be able to work in a fast-paced work environment with flexibility and dedication.
- 7Must be able to lift, walk, sit, and stand for periods of time.
- 8Must complete local mandated trainings and pass fingerprint clearance from the California Department of Justice before starting employment.
