What You'll Do10
- 1Build and execute Indoor Air Quality and Post-Remediation Verification Assessments including water intrusion mold moisture mapping and air sampling
- 2Gather analyze and interpret data to prepare clear Scope of Work and draft technical reports
- 3Conduct asbestos and lead based paint surveys and oversight of abatement and remediation activities
- 4Perform industrial hygiene sampling and monitoring including chemical and noise exposures
- 5Monitor air quality and sound levels and recommend engineering and administrative controls to limit exposures
- 6Compare exposures against regulatory limits from OSHA EPA and ACGIH and adjust work plans
- 7Prepare scopes of work and draft reports for client reviews
- 8Ensure safe work practices on all project sites and lead safety training as needed
- 9Actively develop career growth and pursue additional EHS qualifications
- 10Travel 70 80 percent to support field projects and client engagements
Requirements10
- 1BA/BS in Industrial Hygiene Environmental Science/Engineering or related field
- 25+ years of technical experience in industrial hygiene asbestos and lead sampling
- 3Asbestos lead and or lead inspector certifications preferred
- 4HAZWOPER 40 Hour with current 8 hour refresher preferred
- 5Knowledge of asbestos OSHA EPA and state regulations
- 6Ability to work in respirators and protective clothing
- 7Proficiency with MS Office Suite and data analysis
- 8Strong written verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- 9Valid driver’s license good driving history and reliable transportation
- 10Safe work record and understanding of safe work practices
