Overview

What You'll Do11
- 1Perform building inspections for asbestos-containing materials following AHERA and CDPHE regulations
- 2Execute field tests ranging from paint chip analysis to XRF identification
- 3Conduct air monitoring and visual inspections during abatement projects
- 4Collect painted coating samples in residential commercial and industrial settings
- 5Operate calibrated field equipment including pumps and gas detectors
- 6Gather noise level data in industrial and commercial environments
- 7Identify suspect microbial growth and collect relevant samples
- 8Carry out indoor air quality assessments
- 9Document findings and prepare reports with timeliness
- 10Participate in pre-task planning and report preparation assistance
- 11Follow safety protocols and report concerns to management
Requirements7
- 1High school diploma or equivalent minimum 0-3 years relevant experience
- 2Valid driver’s license with acceptable violation history
- 3Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- 4Certifications such as CDPHE-Certified Asbestos Building Inspector or Lead Paint Inspector
- 5Associates or bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety and Health Industrial Hygiene Environmental Science or related field
- 640-hour HAZWOPER certificate with current annual refresher
- 7Strong interpersonal oral and written communication abilities
