What You'll Do11

  • 1Perform building inspections for asbestos-containing materials following AHERA and CDPHE regulations
  • 2Execute field tests ranging from paint chip analysis to XRF identification
  • 3Conduct air monitoring and visual inspections during abatement projects
  • 4Collect painted coating samples in residential commercial and industrial settings
  • 5Operate calibrated field equipment including pumps and gas detectors
  • 6Gather noise level data in industrial and commercial environments
  • 7Identify suspect microbial growth and collect relevant samples
  • 8Carry out indoor air quality assessments
  • 9Document findings and prepare reports with timeliness
  • 10Participate in pre-task planning and report preparation assistance
  • 11Follow safety protocols and report concerns to management

Requirements7

  • 1High school diploma or equivalent minimum 0-3 years relevant experience
  • 2Valid driver’s license with acceptable violation history
  • 3Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • 4Certifications such as CDPHE-Certified Asbestos Building Inspector or Lead Paint Inspector
  • 5Associates or bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety and Health Industrial Hygiene Environmental Science or related field
  • 640-hour HAZWOPER certificate with current annual refresher
  • 7Strong interpersonal oral and written communication abilities
