What You'll Do11
- 1Perform industrial hygiene sampling and indoor air quality assessments
- 2Conduct hazardous material collection for air water and soil testing
- 3Manage bulk sample acquisition for asbestos lead and regulated materials
- 4Collect ambient air samples for asbestos and related contaminants
- 5Oversee subcontractor activities and complete visual inspections during asbestos abatement
- 6Draft comprehensive reports integrating quantitative and qualitative findings
- 7Develop design specifications proposals and project budgets
- 8Survey and monitor construction activities for abatement projects involving hazardous substances
- 9Create environmental design documents for Phase I assessments
- 10Maintain documentation for Federal Installations clearance processes
- 11Ensure adherence to OSHA asbestos standards and EPA regulations
Requirements11
- 1Minimum four-year degree or equivalent professional experience
- 2Ability to secure and retain Federal Installation access credentials
- 3Proficiency in EPA AHERA Title 40 CFR Part 61 NESHAP asbestos protocols
- 4Knowledge of OSHA 29 CFR Part 1926.1101 asbestos standard
- 5Certification in Hazardous Waste Operations Emergency Response 40-hour
- 6Completed 40-hour Hazardous Waste Operations refresher 29 CFR 1910.120
- 7Colorado CDPHE Regulation #8 certification preferred
- 8Experience with RCRA VCUP CAA CWA SDWA TSCA FUDS UST AST programs
- 9Strong written verbal communication and client relationship management skills
- 10Track record of managing complex multi-task environments
- 11Willingness to travel 75 percent of scheduled assignments
