What You'll Do10

  • 1Build and manage real estate, landlord tenant, and regulatory compliance programs to mitigate risk across multi state operations
  • 2Draft review negotiate and manage commercial agreements including leases vendor service and acquisition related documents
  • 3Partner with Acquisitions to oversee legal due diligence purchase agreements closing coordination and transaction compliance
  • 4Direct outside counsel providing strategic oversight for litigation employment matters and specialized issues
  • 5Develop and maintain training programs for managers on compliance policies and best practices
  • 6Identify legal risks and deliver practical business oriented solutions that protect company interests
  • 7Advise leadership on evolving laws regulations and industry trends impacting the organization
  • 8Oversee dispute resolution strategies settlement negotiations and risk mitigation
  • 9Coordinate eviction related processes and support operations with process improvements and training
  • 10Standardize legal processes to improve operational efficiency across the organization

Requirements8

  • 1Juris Doctor from an accredited law school
  • 2Active Arizona Bar license or eligibility for Arizona In-House Counsel registration
  • 33–5+ years of legal experience in corporate law real estate commercial transactions or property management
  • 4Strong knowledge of real estate law landlord tenant contracts corporate governance compliance and risk management
  • 5Experience managing outside counsel and multiple legal priorities
  • 6Excellent negotiation communication and relationship-building skills
  • 7Experience supporting acquisitions or commercial real estate transactions is highly preferred
  • 8Multi-state bar admissions are beneficial but not required
