Owns critical care nursing for adult patients in a high acuity setting with continuous monitoring and life support. What You'll Do6
- 1Build and monitor continuous patient assessments including hemodynamics and ventilator parameters to drive timely care decisions
- 2Design and administer medications and titrate vasoactive drips according to physician orders to stabilize patients
- 3Ship urgent responses to emergent events such as cardiac or respiratory arrest with effective team coordination
- 4Lead collaboration with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other care disciplines to align on the plan of care
- 5Deliver education and emotional support to patients and families during critical illness to promote understanding and comfort
- 6Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately in the electronic medical record to ensure continuity of care
Requirements6
- 1Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing Required
- 2Minimum 1-2 years of critical care or med-surg nursing experience Preferred
- 3Current RN license in state of practice Required
- 4Basic Life Support BLS certification Required
- 5Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support ACLS certification Required
- 6Critical Care Registered Nurse CCRN certification Preferred
