Overview

The RN will own critical care nursing for cardiovascular surgery patients in a high-acuity ICU at scale. You will collaborate with surgeons and intensivists to drive patient recovery pathways and monitor complex hemodynamics. Onsite talent will contribute to post-operative plans and ventilator management in a fast-paced environment.

What You'll Do5

  • 1Monitor patients recovering from cardiac surgery and manage chest tubes drains and pacing wires
  • 2Perform continuous hemodynamic monitoring and titrate vasoactive and inotropic medications
  • 3Manage mechanical ventilation and assist with weaning protocols
  • 4Recognize and respond to signs of cardiac tamponade arrhythmia or hemodynamic instability
  • 5Collaborate with surgeons intensivists and other disciplines on post operative care plan and document patient response

  • 1Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing Required
  • 2Current RN license in state of practice Required
  • 3BLS certification Required
  • 4ACLS certification Required
  • 51-2 years of ICU or cardiovascular nursing experience Preferred
