Registered Nurse ICU - Sun City AZ ICU Critical Care
Overview
Own critical care delivery for adult patients in a high acuity ICU at scale within a collaborative care team. The nurse will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for complex, unstable conditions. Work alongside physicians, respiratory therapists, and nursing peers to drive patient outcomes. This role offers onsite, contract opportunities with pay negotiable and a focus on evidence-based, patient-centered care.
What You'll Do6
- 1Build continuous patient assessment and monitoring for hemodynamics and ventilation to stabilize critical conditions
- 2Titrate vasoactive drips and administer medications per physician orders to optimize outcomes
- 3Respond to emergent changes including cardiac and respiratory arrest with rapid, coordinated actions
- 4Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapy, and other disciplines on plans of care to ensure consistency
- 5Document assessments, interventions, and patient response in the electronic medical record
- 6Educate and provide emotional support to patients and families during critical illness
Requirements5
- 1Current RN license in state of practice
- 2Basic Life Support BLS certification
- 3Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support ACLS certification
- 4Critical Care Registered Nurse CCRN certification preferred
- 5Associate or Bachelor Degree in Nursing required
