What You'll Do6
- 1Build and monitor continuous neonatal care for premature and critically ill neonates to achieve stable vital signs.
- 2Design and manage respiratory support including ventilators, CPAP, and oxygen therapy with careful titration.
- 3Administer medications and IV therapy with precise neonatal dosing to optimize outcomes.
- 4Support thermoregulation, feeding, and developmental care to promote growth and family-centered care.
- 5Educate and support families through the infant's NICU stay, coordinating with the care team.
- 6Document assessments, interventions, and infant responses in the medical record with accuracy.
Requirements6
- 1Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing Required
- 2Minimum 1-2 years of NICU or pediatric critical care nursing experience Preferred
- 3Current RN license in state of practice Required
- 4Basic Life Support BLS certification Required
- 5Neonatal Resuscitation Program NRP certification Required
- 6Certification in Neonatal Intensive Care Nursing RNC-NIC Preferred
