What You'll Do9
- 1Diagnose and repair microprocessors and distributed control systems
- 2Calibrate and maintain programmable logic controllers and field instrumentation
- 3Develop PLC logic and PID loop tuning to optimize plant performance
- 4Troubleshoot electronic circuits and variable frequency drives
- 5Maintain control documentation and coordinate contractor activities
- 6Track inventory and manage spare parts and consumables
- 7Ensure safe work practices and identify workplace hazards
- 8Support high voltage switching as safety person when trained
- 9Perform cleaning and safety inspections of plant areas
Requirements7
- 1High school diploma or equivalent with three years experience in power generation or central utility plants
- 2Valid driver’s license
- 3Massachusetts Journeyman Electrician License preferred
- 4Ability to lift fifty pounds and stand for long periods
- 5Availability for extended hours including evenings and weekends
- 6Strong knowledge of electrical and pneumatic systems
- 7Commitment to safety and teamwork in a collaborative environment
